Negri Bossi will be exhibiting at the MECSPE fair taking place in Bologna from 6 to 8 March, at stand number A36, pav.36 EUROSTAMPI
During the event, Negri Bossi will be exhibiting a NOVA 5eT 180-H590, a full electric series, built to guarantee high performance in terms of efficiency and precision. Negri Bossi group has a consolidated experience on the global market and the new NOVA 5eT series is differentiated by important technical features. The main innovations are the new ‘Flat Clamp’ clamping system, which guarantees a better spread of clamping force on the platen thanks to an innovative toggle design, and the patented ‘Pre Pack’ function, which guarantees high precision and repeatability during the injection phase even in the case of unstable batches.
The range includes models from 50 to 360 tonnes. The NOVA 5eT, designed for the medical, packaging and technical moulding sectors, will be moulding a liquid silicone rubber (LSR) part for the medical sector at Mecspe.
LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) is a technology that Negri Bossi has been developing and proposing for decades, having developed increasingly complex and truly interesting applications over the years. These, dedicated to various sectors, have been realised thanks to the collaboration with Dow Consumer Solutions (lsr supplier: http://www.dow.com).
In 2024, on the strength of the experience gained over the last few years, Negri Bossi will be at MECSPE with a new challenge: It will be exhibiting a 180-ton Nova5, a full electric Nissei Plastic/Negri Bossi press, for the moulding of a thermal bearing, a product that can be placed in the medical sector, among others. The material used is LSR SILASTIC LTC 9400 – 50.
In this case, the container, filling with coolant and sealing will be carried out during the moulding process.
The final product is configured as a thermal pad for medical use, but would also find excellent use in the Automotive and Electronics sectors for the protection of electronic components placed in the container instead of the liquid.
With Nissei Plastic, the parent company, and the support of Sytrama, the group’s robotics division, Negri Bossi has the knowledge and expertise to support customers in the development and realisation of projects of varying complexity for which it is able to supply tested and certified ‘turnkey’ systems for safety, functionality and reliability.
The innovative user-friendly and Multitouch TACT5 control completes the press and in conjunction with the AMICO.4.0. Tele-Support System, created in 1998 by Negri Bossi, which to date has thousands of user customers, guarantees after-sales support via WAN connection, allowing production to be managed in the best possible way and press data to be interconnected to the various IT systems, increasingly in line with Industry 4.0 (in line with and ready for the recent Euromap 77/OPC 40077 communication standards).
