Greenplast 2025: AMI and Promaplast join forces for an exhibition-convention dedicated to the sustainability of plastics
After the success of the first edition in 2022, which saw the participation of 170 exhibitors on a net area of 6,000 square metres, attracting more than 20,000 visitors from 55 countries, Greenplast, the international exhibition-convention dedicated to materials, technologies and transformation processes of plastics and rubber, with a special focus on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, is back.
The event, which will take place from 27 to 30 May 2025 at Fiera Milano in Rho Pero, is once again part of The Innovation Alliance: four trade fairs – Ipack-Ima, Print4All, Intralogistica Italia and Greenplast – that will be held at the same time, occupying almost the entire exhibition centre with free circulation of visitors in all pavilions.
In addition, Greenplast will be strengthened by the collaboration with AMI (Applied Market Information), which will coordinate the conference part.
A strategic partnership
AMI, a recognised leader in consultancy for the plastics industry, will run the Greenplast 2025 conference in cooperation with event organiser Promaplast. It will last four days, from the afternoon of 27 May to the morning of 30 May. This cooperation will ensure a programme with high-level sessions and technical content to illustrate the challenges of the sector, taking an innovative and future-oriented approach.
Focus on sustainability
The conference will explore sustainability challenges and solutions for plastics, focusing on the most strategic sectors and analysing recent legislation and innovations in waste management, also involving companies active in this sector.
Round tables will be organised with the participation of brand owners, major retailers, raw material producers, converters, etc., focusing not only on packaging but also on automotive and construction where plastics are widely used.
Topics will range from waste management to mechanical and chemical recycling, from the ecodesign of plastic products to the future of bioplastics, from pollution of the seas to the use of AI to improve environmental impact.
AMI’s expertise in recycling and sustainability, combined with Promaplast’s organisational capacity, will help further strengthen Greenplast 2025 and offer industry professionals unique opportunities for high-level updates and networking.
