GreenPlast 2025 is preparing to welcome the international public with an even richer and more future-oriented edition. Scheduled to take place at Fiera Milano from 27 to 30 May 2025, the event confirms itself as a reference point for the world of technologies dedicated to plastics and rubber, with a clear mission: to demonstrate how innovation and sustainability can coexist and generate value, in a constantly evolving supply chain.
A growing exhibition overview
With about 200 exhibitors, including direct and represented, on 5,500 square metres of floor space, GreenPlast offers an increasingly complete snapshot of cutting-edge technologies for the transformation, recycling and reuse of plastic materials.
A vision that looks to the future, also thanks to the presence of official delegations of buyers from around twenty European countries, the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East, coordinated by ICE-Agenzia and the main sector associations.
One hundred highly qualified operators, from structured companies active in the production of manufactured products and recycling, looking for solutions capable of increasing the competitiveness of their production processes, with an increasingly marked focus on energy efficiency and the reduction of environmental impact.
Thanks to an online matchmaking platform, buyers will be able to schedule meetings in advance, making their presence even more strategic and useful.
Beyond the exhibition: moments of comparison and inspiration
Greenplast will also be a place for in-depth discussion and dialogue on the major challenges facing the sector. The international conference “Shaping a sustainable future for plastics”, coordinated by AMI – Applied Market Information and Promaplast, the organiser of GreenPlast, will see the participation of experts and key players in the industry to reflect on the opportunities offered by the ecological transition.
Alongside this, “Tech Talks” – short presentations by exhibitors – will offer a direct look at the most advanced technological solutions, capable of combining performance and sustainability.
Sustainability becomes art
But sustainability at GreenPlast is not only a technical issue. This is demonstrated by the now eagerly awaited Art& Plastics exhibition, which in this edition welcomes original projects such as LadyBe’s creations, ‘Plastica d’Artista’ (curated by Pina Inferrera), ‘Arte da mangiare mangiare Arte’ and Museo Acqua Franca (projects by topylabrys), which will be joined this year by MAP – Museo Arte Plastica in Castiglione Olona.
Through art, polymers become raw-material capable of telling stories, emotions and new scenarios of circularity.
Training the next generation
The world of education will also play a leading role. Some fifteen universities and technical institutes have already expressed interest in participating in the fair. Guided tours and educational events will be organised for them with the aim of promoting a more conscious culture on the use of plastics, their potential and above all their recyclability.
One ticket, four events
For all operators interested in visiting GreenPlast, online presale is already active in the ‘Visitors’ section of the greenplast.org website. Admission will also allow access to the concurrent exhibitions: Ipack-Ima, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia, for an even more complete experience in the world of sustainable manufacturing.
